Refinee provides software designed to help teams automate and manage security questionnaires, compliance workflows, and related documentation.
You retain ownership of all data you upload to the platform, including:
- Questionnaires
- Evidence documents
- Responses
- Compliance records
You grant Refinee a limited license to process this data solely to provide the Service.
We do not sell customer data and do not use it to train AI models.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate laws or regulations
- Infringe intellectual property rights
- Store or transmit harmful or illegal content
- Conduct security testing without permission
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation
We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules.
Intellectual Property
The Refinee platform, including software, design, branding, and content, is the property of Refinee AI, Inc. and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
These Terms do not grant you ownership of:
- Software
- Features
- Trademarks
- Documentation
- Platform design
You receive a limited, non-exclusive license to use the Service.
Service Availability
We aim to provide reliable access to Refinee, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
The Service may be affected by:
- Maintenance
- Updates
- Infrastructure issues
- Third-party service disruptions
We may modify or discontinue features at any time.
Fees and Billing
If you purchase a paid plan:
- Fees are billed monthly or annually
- Payments are non-refundable unless required by law
- You may cancel at any time
- Access continues through the end of the billing period
Failure to pay may result in suspension of access.
Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time.
We may suspend or terminate access if:

- Payment is overdue
- Use poses a security risk
- Required by law
Upon termination, your access to the Service will end.
Disclaimer of Warranties

Refinee makes no warranties regarding:
- Accuracy of generated responses
- Compliance outcomes
- Availability of the Service
- Error-free operation
You are responsible for reviewing and approving all generated content.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Refinee AI, Inc. will not be liable for:
- Indirect or consequential damages
- Loss of data
- Loss of business or revenue
- Security audit outcomes
- Compliance decisions made using the Service
Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the Service in the previous 12 months.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Refinee AI, Inc. from claims arising from:
- Your use of the Service
- Your uploaded content
- Violations of these Terms
- Violations of applicable laws
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms periodically.
When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date.
Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
